The inaugural Big Sky MX Challenge race is in the history books. We had a tremendous turnout for the first-ever event with 164 riders on practice day, 284 entries on race day, 40 pro class entries, and riders from 3 states coming as far away as Rapid City SD and Casper WY. We would like to thank everyone who participated and we want to give a special shout out to the Billings Motorcycle Club and their members for supporting this new endeavor. We hope you join us again on May 26-27 in Livingston, MT for Round 2 of the BSMXC series.

Today, T&E Caterpillar (Billings, MT) announced their support for the 2012 Big Sky MX Challenge race series. T&E CAT Rental Stores has agreed to become the official equipment supplier of the Big Sky MX Challenge race series. They have agreed to extend their support to providing equipment for the Big Sky MX Challenge races in Billings, MT and Livingston, MT. For 2012, all tracks participating in the Big Sky MX Challenge race series will be supported by T&E CAT Rental Stores with Caterpillar equipment.

Yamaha announces 2012 Big Sky MX Challenge Dealer Series contingency program. $4000 total purse will be up for grabs at four series events, $1000 per event. Eligible events: Round 1, Round 2, Round 5 and Round 6. Due to popular demand, we have added another class for the mini riders; 85cc Open. This class is open to all riders through age 15. The bikes must be stock displacement 85cc 2-stroke or 150cc 4-stroke with 14" or 16" rear wheels. No supermini's allowed. Thank you to all those who voiced their concerns regarding the addition of this class. Your opinion matters and we want to keep hearing from you in the future.
